We are seeking a skilled plumber to join our team on a contract basis, focused on repairs and maintenance of domestic properties based around the South Shields area. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents have access to safe and reliable plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks in domestic properties.
- Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Liaising with residents to provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or queries.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally in a similar role.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent within Plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, techniques, and tools.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Asbestos awareness.
- Manual handling.
- Working at heights.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
