At the veterinary practice, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to thrive in a diverse and supportive work environment. The role involves contributing to the development of Veterinary Nurses' individual surgical and medical interests, as well as assisting in the training of the nurse and VCA team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in appraisals and auditing of clinical care.
- Inspire and motivate the team to deliver high-quality care.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
- Maintain the purpose-built and fully equipped surgery for optimal clinical care.
- Collaborate with a team of 3 Vets, 2 nurses, 2 Student nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, 1 Practice Manager & 4 Client Care Advisors.
- Uphold practice standards and certifications, including RCVS Practice Standards (GP), ISFM Feline Friendly Practice, and RAW Rabbit Friendly Practice (Silver).
Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Experience in general nursing.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Genuine interest in animal welfare.
- Forward-thinking and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
