We are excited to present an opportunity for a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join a leading company in the robotic welding system industry. Our client is renowned for their comprehensive services, delivering tailored solutions from concept to commissioning and beyond.
  • An attractive salary range of 30,000 - 35,000
  • Full-time, on-site role based in Southam
  • Working hours from Monday to Thursday (7.30 - 16.30) and Friday (7.20 - 14.00)
The Role:As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Analysing blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to program and operate CNC machines
  • Producing precision components
  • Modifying existing programs for efficiency
  • Implementing quality control measures
  • Troubleshooting machining issues as needed
The Candidate:The ideal candidate for the CNC Machinist/Programmer role should have:
  • Experience with the working processes of lathes and milling machines
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, tool selection, and tool maintenance
  • Experience with quality control measures and inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with CNC machines and make adjustments to programs as needed
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software would be a bonus
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Experience with operating and programming CNC machines, including understanding of G-code and M-code (advantage)
