We are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a company which plays a central role in supporting competition in the non-household retail water market. The Business Analyst will lead the detailed design and documentation of business user requirements for the development and deployment of a new Market Performance Framework (MPF) for the non-household water market in England and Wales. As a Business Analyst you will support the Programme Team in the effective delivery, implementation, and release of all associated processes and products. Occasional face to face attendance at off-site meetings may be required, mainly in London. Apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing and documenting 'as is’ and 'to be' processes
  • Impact analysis
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to agree scopes, gain support and inform solution design.
  • MoSCoW analysis (particularly around the reporting of performance metrics). Automation vs manual
  • Preparing detailed business user requirement specifications to enable effective technical

development of the MPF platform and internal/external processes, bridging the gap between operations and IT

  • Prepare and deliver report conclusions and recommendations to leadership, accompanied with a comprehensive risk and impact assessment
  • Carrying out training sessions and workshops and supporting the preparation of online training materials to guide relevant teams
  • Undertaking user acceptance testing

Skills and experience required:

  • Process flow analyst and documenting
  • MoSCoW and experience in business analysis
  • History of leading and supporting successful projects
  • Business process mapping and requirements gathering
  • Designing and facilitating workshops experience
  • Experienced in documenting and presenting findings and recommendations
  • Ability to analyse complex situations and develop considered options and responses
  • Able to articulate complex options clearly and concisely to senior decision makers
  • Experience in managing multiple pieces of work at any one time in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of project or change management controls would be an advantage
