Facilities Assistant

Facilities Assistant - 3 month contract - Southampton Area - ASAP Start

Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant for a school based in the Southampton area. You will need to work Monday-Friday, the shift times are either - 06:30 - 14:30 or 10:30 - 18:30. Hourly rate is £12-£15, depending on experience. The candidate needs an Enhanced DBS or be willing to have one in place before starting so ideally on the update service.

The role will involve:

- Moving and setting up furniture and equipment as required

- Helping keep the school clean and tidy

- Assisting the Facilities Manager to check and maintain the Fire Alarm, and to assist with the Fire Drills

- Undertaking routine security checks and basic compliance checks

- General maintenance where required
