The Role: Marketing & Events Coordinator

Leo Recruitment are hiring on behalf of a FinTech start-up organisation who have found a gap in the market to provide a unique and sophisticated financial solution designed specifically for Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients in the superyacht industry.

The company has already been established for over two years where they have carefully and methodically built the system from the ground up based on direct feedback from captains and yacht owners to ensure it is efficient, effective, sought-after, and market-leading.

As they are now approaching their launch date, they are keen to hire a Marketing and Events Coordinator to work closely with their Chief Marketing Officer where you will be given the opportunity to immerse yourself in a diverse range of initiatives to promote their brand with quality and style.

As their Events and Marketing Coordinator, you will work in an autonomous environment where you will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Generating innovative ideas and creating both digital and print content for magazines, news articles, brochures, email campaigns, and social media
  • Participating in the planning, execution, and scheduling of promotional events, conferences, and yacht shows, as well as assisting in communication with brand partners
  • Analysing marketing data and metrics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives
  • Organising marketing collateral, including corporate gifting and merchandise

To Be Successful:

  • You will need to have prior experience in the yachting industry, preferably in a leadership role (e.g. Chief Steward / Chief Stewardess / Captain or similar)
  • It is essential that your written English and verbal communication skills are exceptional
  • You must have excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • You will need to have a passion for marketing, such as event management, PR or social media (experience is highly advantageous)
  • You will need to be willing to travel occasionally for event-related purposes if required

Location:Fully remote from anywhere in the UK.
