Site Services Supervisor - Southampton

Days role Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm with earlier finish on Fridays!

This is an urgent and excellent position for a hands on Site Services Supervisor to join a large growing team in the Southampton area. You will be joining a large industrial organisation, who are growing year on year! Duties include:

  • Directly lead, manage and drive forward the technical service offering of the Southampton/South Coast Engineering team as the primary point of contact with clients, understanding their requirements, aims, schedules and processes to ensure full- and on-time delivery of services and contractual obligations while maintaining best working practices.
  • Responsible as line manager for the dedicated site teams, project engineers and work/project deliverables.
  • Key role in the quotation and estimating of costs and selling price for site and project work.
  • Clear focus on health and safety management and encompassing direct responsibility for the site services teams and project delivery.
  • Full technical understanding of rotating equipment repairs and previous working experience within the water industry is strongly desired

Although this is a more senior role within the business, it is still a hands on position and you will be required to work on both mechanical and electrical faults.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SITE SERVICES SUPERVISOR:

  • Experience working as a Site Service Supervisor previously or leading a small team of engineers
  • Multi Skilled - up to 70/30 either bias - Electrical preferred
  • Must have hands on engineering experience
  • Must have a background working in water utilities
  • Strong team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Industrial / Manufacturing background
