My Southampton based client are looking for an SC Cleared (will consider Lapsed) Programme / Senior Project Manager to join them for an initial 6 month contract.

The Successful Programme / Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of a complex Network / Telephony Programme, managing the transition of a number of client sites from PSTN to FTTP.

Previous experience of delivering Telephony / Network Programme and Projects will be highly desirable.

The role will require the Programme Manager / Senior PM to act at Portfolio level but also be happy to hold responsibility for delivery of the project also.

Skills;

  • Experience of delivering complex Network / Telephony / Data Projects
  • Experience of PSTN / FTTP transition projects
  • Demonstrable experience of strong Stakeholder Engagement - internally and externally
  • Demonstrable experience of managing procurement processes for services and Hardware - experience of government procurement processes will be beneficial
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering transition projects, including cut over planning, acceptance testing and roll out activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations
  • Demonstrable experience of working with 3rd parties and providers - working closely with them to put together detailed transition plans and schedules
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and being responsible for financial aspects of Programmes and Projects
  • Demonstrable experience of managing Risk across Programmes and Projects - ensuring that all are reported and controlled
  • Demonstrable experience of Benefit realisation - tracking and aligning these to critical success factors
  • Solid Reporting and Documentation experience - including project updates, delivery reports and financial reports
