Are you an IT Manager looking for a new challenge? Look no further, one of our long-standing clients is looking for a new IT Systems Manager to join their well-established business within the logistics sector.
Our client is looking for someone who's experienced at managing a team and not afraid to get their hands dirty. You will be responsible for a team of 4 consisting of a Security Analyst, an Infrastructure Manager, and 2 Systems Technologists (3rd line support), along with other IT functions within the business. You will play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the smooth running of the IT Systems within the business and also to adhere to project specifications, costs, and timelines.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the maintenance and support of the existing technical IT systems and Infrastructure.
- Responsibility for Cyber security and compliance of the UK systems.
- Ensure within expected timelines the maximum availability of systems.
- Manage, and support the System Technologist team.
- Ensure the IT Business Continuity plan is in place, functioning, and further developed for increased functionality.
- Implement and maintain the company's IT policies.
- Ensure the legal compliance of IT responsible regulations.
- Identify, investigate, and introduce technologies to improve productivity and security.
- Participate as IT technical lead in projects not led by the IT department.
- Project Manage technical projects, manage resources, and coordinate with the business.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with the Corporate IT team.
- Co-ordinate with other IT departments and the Business to provide a high level of service to the business.
- Any other duties commensurate with skills, scope, and time available.
Key job requirements:
- An experienced IT Manager with a proven track
- Ability to understand the wider IT arena as well as individual
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, prioritising workload and managing conflicting
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff across the business, as well as key customers and suppliers.
