Music Teacher

MUSIC TEACHERProspero Teaching are supporting a Good Ofsted rated Secondary School located adjacent to the New Forest National Park seeking a qualified Music Teacher to commence September 2024 This role will include the teaching of PE practical and theory across KS3/KS4 including GCSE. The successful post-holder will build upon the success of the schools current music offer, which operates from a newly refurbished and well-equipped music block with modern resources. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:

• Location: Southampton, Hampshire
• Position: Music Teacher
• Start date: September 2024
• Duration / Likely Duration: Permanent
• End date (if applicable) - Permanent
• Contract type - Permanent
• Full time/part time - Full Time
• Minimum rate of pay - GBP30,000-41,333 per annum
• Hours - 8:15am - 4:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (Prospero can provide relevant training if required)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years of employment
