Dandara is currently recruiting for a Management Trainee to join the Land & Planning team of our Southern regions head office, based in Southampton.

About the role

This role is ideal for school/college leavers looking to further their education, alongside gaining first hand industry experience. Dandara will fund external qualifications such as a diploma or degree in the relevant field, providing the Management Trainee with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their role - so you don't have to worry about the financial worries that come with student loans or tuition fees!

Dates for your diary

We plan to hold Assessment days in Mid-June where you can come into our offices and meet us and other members of the team and if you're successful, the planned start date for this role will be in September, after the summer holidays.

What you will do:

  • Offer innovative ideas to the wider team, demonstrating your capabilities while being supported by our training programme along with a professional qualification through a higher-level apprenticeship.
  • Interact with our key decision makers and your peers, providing you with a sound knowledge of our housebuilding process.
  • Support the management team in day-to-day operations and decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects and initiatives forward
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other business documents
  • Participate in training programs to enhance leadership and management skills
  • Any other ad-hoc duty relevant to your department that will support you in your studies.

What you will have:

Essential

  • Have at least 3 GCSE’s Grade A*- C (9-4) Including Math’s and English, alongside two A-Levels (160 UCAS Points).
  • A full UK driving license
  • Great communication, problem solving and organisation skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to be enthusiastic, proactive and a team player
