Are you an experienced Block Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio and drive new business? We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Block Manager to join our team in the Southampton region. Key Responsibilities:- Portfolio Management: Oversee a small portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring high standards of service and client satisfaction.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, attend client meetings, and secure new contracts.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, leaseholders, and clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with relevant legislation, including S20 consultations and health and safety regulations.
- Service Charge Management: Prepare and manage service charge budgets, handle financial queries, and oversee expenditure.
- Meetings: Organise and attend Annual General Meetings (AGMs), take minutes, and follow up on action points.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Block Manager with a solid understanding of property management, service charges, S20 consultations, and AGM procedures.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and residents.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proactive: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to the London office for onboarding and training during the initial period and as required for client meetings and site visits.
- Competitive Salary: Circa £50,000, depending on experience.
