Assistant Restaurant Manager – relocation required

  • Shift:
  1. Straight Shifts – These would start from 11am and finish by around 9-10pm.
  2. These working hours are brilliant for non-drivers as you will be able to get a bus/train in the morning and in the evening.
  3. No Split Shifts
  4. Must be fully flexible to work 5 out of the 7 days and also bank holidays

The role:

This job is based in Lymington, UK; however, using our bespoke “Recruit and Relocate”, Workforce will help you move area.

Our client, a magnificent Georgian property located in the heart of Lymington, offers both comfort and luxury within a relaxed, elegant, and welcoming atmosphere. After an extensive refurbishment, it has become one of the most luxurious boutique hotels in the New Forest.

Role Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage all facets of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory oversight, and budget management
  • Train, motivate, and lead a team of restaurant personnel to ensure outstanding customer service
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain exemplary cleanliness and hygiene
  • Supervise food preparation, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns or complaints
  • Partner with the kitchen team to innovate and develop new menu items and specials
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to devise strategies that boost sales and profitability
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance restaurant performance

Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in team management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, bartending methods, and food production processes
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Skilled in food preparation techniques with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Superior customer service skills, adept at handling customer complaints effectively
