The Role: Relationship Support Manager

Leo Recruitment are hiring on behalf of a FinTech start-up organisation who have found a gap in the market to deliver a unique payment system designed specifically for the yachting industry.

The company has already been established for over two years where they have carefully and methodically built the system from the ground up based on direct feedback from potential clients (yacht owners, captains, etc.) to ensure it is efficient, effective, sought-after, and market-leading.

The company cares greatly about their staff and how they do business, and as they are now approaching their launch date, they are keen to hire Relationship Support Managers who are equipped to deliver the highest level of service covering various night shifts (see ‘working hours’ below), whilst ensuring an open and collaborative culture where continuous improvement is encouraged.

As a Relationship Support Manager, you will work in an autonomous environment where you will need to be capable of demonstrating initiative as well as exceptional verbal and written communication. Your role will involve providing advice and guidance on financial transactions, troubleshooting and resolving financial enquiries and issues, and ensuring clients receive high-end, best-in-class service. You will also need to be relatively flexible to support their “all hands on deck” ethos to ensure clients’ needs are always met.

To Be Successful:

  • You will need to have at least two years of recent experience working onboard superyachts as a Chief Steward/Stewardess, Bosun, Purser, Deckhand or First Officer.
  • Your verbal and written communication skills need to be professional, and you’ll need to be confident in dealing with yacht owners, Captains, and yacht management companies.
  • If you have any knowledge of banking terminology and processes (such as IBANS, AML, KYC, payments, VAT, and banking jurisdictions), this would highly advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Location: Fully remote, preferably from anywhere in the UK, however other locations/countries will be considered.

Working Hours / Night Shift Patterns Available:

There is currently only 1 shift to choose from at present, which is subject to change slightly:

Mon 12:00 - 00:00 (12 hrs) ; Wed & Thu 00:00 - 08:00 (8 hrs) ; Fri 00:00 - 12:00 (12 hrs)

Please note that these times are GMT and may be different if you live overseas. Some flexibility will be required to ensure all hours are covered during other team members’ holidays.

This Role Would Be Suitable For: A Chief Steward/Stewardess, Bosun, Purser, Deckhand or First Officer.
