Are you a Lead Software Engineer in the Hampshire area that’s worked on medical device software? Well versed with the likes of C, Python or C++? If you have a passion for problem-solving and want to be part of a fast growing start-up, then look no further.What you’ll need
  • Good experience creating software for life science applications.
  • Experience in writing, debugging and verifying code in MATLAB.
  • Writing, debugging and verifying code in either C/C++ or Python.
  • Experience of writing embedded code.
  • Writing software that complies with medical device regulations and relevant standards.
  • Experience managing a small team of people.
  • Setting up and maintaining a Quality Management System for software.
  • Experience with risk assessing software.
  • Experience of creating systems and control algorithms.
  • Experience of designing software that interacts with electromechanical and/or fluid systems and hardware and be able to resolve problems at the interface of these systems.
What’s you’ll be doingCreating and documenting software for their future product pipeline. Follow all relevant medical device standards in the creation and documentation of software (notably ISO13485, ISO62304 and ISO14971). Write efficient, logical, and well commented and documented code. Perform the verification and validation of the code, including module, sub-system and system level testing. Potentially, manage the software development team. Create software to collect and process test data and for other purposes. Keep the software aspects of the Quality Management System documentation up to date (Design Inputs / Design Outputs). Work with their Engineering team to successfully interface any software with their hardware.
