Our client has been well established for over 55 years and is one of the leading specialists in air conditioning units and spare parts across the country. This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking a full-time position through temp to perm.
Responsibilities of being a Driver/ Warehouse Assistant:
- Stock checking
- Complying to health and safety
- Serving customers at the counter
- Answering phones and providing quotation
- Loading of vehicles for deliveries
- Process and pick orders for customers
- Completing deliveries when necessary
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Making sure all returned products are delt with promptly and in line with the returns policy
Requirements of the role:
- Physically able to complete manual handling and moving of goods
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks
- Confident using computers/ electronics
- Valid UK Driving Licence is essential
- Warehouse experience is beneficial
- Having a good standard of telephone manner to provide first class service
- Own transport to commute to and from work
