An unmissable opportunity has come up here at Driver Hire Southampton to join a well-established family run business which specialises in carpets and flooring accessories. This client is looking for a motivated and customer orientated individual to join them as a Warehouse Operative/ Driver.
What you need to know:
- Temp to perm position
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am start time (8-10-hour days)
- Complete deliveries of goods when required (driving a 3.5T van)
- Ensure all delivery notes are kept up to date
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Helping customers with their orders in the store
- Check stock levels and ensure the right stock is ordered
- Report any damaged goods
- Ensure warehouse is kept tidy at all times
- Assist trade counter
- Vinyl cutting/ nose drilling (training provided)
What we require from you:
- Full UK driving licence
- Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
- Previous experience in a customer service orientated role
- Confident when dealing with customers face to face
- Comply with the companies health and safety procedures
- Flexible and happy to help where required
- Great time keeping
- Happy with manual handling and heavy lifting
