GSL are recruiting for dedicated Class Teachers to join our team, we work with a variety of Primary Schools across Southend-on-Sea and the rest of Essex, offering competitive pay and an opportunity to fit every teacher. This role is to join an 'Good' Primary School in the Southend-on-Sea area with a fantastic SLT focused on supporting their staff to be the best Educators they can be, with regular opportunities for additional training and CPD and freedom to deliver the curriculum in their own unique and inspiring way. Our school has a focus on the wellbeing of students and fostering a positive environment for children to be happy and have a passion for learning. 


 
KS1 - KS2 - Class Teacher -  Primary School Teacher - Education and Training - Southend-on-Sea
  
Position: Class Teacher - Primary 
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Salary Scale: £125-£240 per day (£24,375 - £46,800), depending on experience and qualifications! 
Contract Type: Full-time (part time available) 

Start date: September (or earlier if available)  

 
 
Key Responsibilities of a Class Teacher: 
 

  • Create Engaging Lessons: As a Class Teacher you will Develop and deliver creative and interactive lessons that cater to the unique needs of students. 

  • Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Cultivate a classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and a love for learning. 

  • Individualized Support: As a Class Teacher you will provide personalized support to students, ensuring each child's unique learning needs are met. 

  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with fellow educators to create a cohesive and dynamic teaching team. 

  • Parental Engagement: As a Class Teacher you will establish open communication with parents, fostering a strong partnership in the education of their children. 

 
 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS1. 

  • Sound knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. 

  • Creative and innovative teaching approach, with a commitment to providing a stimulating learning environment. 

  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students and promote inclusivity.
