A client of ours in the Southend area are recruiting 2 Compliance Managers to join their team, one who specialises is Design Assurance and another who specialises in Health, Safety and Environment Assurance. This is a full-time position working Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm and paying between 40,000 - 45,000 per annum depending on experience.

Please see below a list of key duties for both Compliance Manager roles:

  • Identify and communicate applicable compliance requirements to the business.
  • Provide assurance of functional audit compliance to business management system processes.
  • Generate business management system performance metrics output reports by function (KPI's).
  • Identify functional corrective actions and manage closure.
  • Generate management system audits and findings.
  • Document, issue and maintain management systems and processes.
  • Perform risk assessments.
  • Report on the effectivity and performance of the management systems.
  • Establish and maintain a departmental structure that is sufficient to support compliance activities.
  • Ensure that the processes used to determine and manage employee performance, attendance, timekeeping and employee relations are effective and work closely with the HR team.
  • Provided relevant staff with the organisation's performance information and future plans.
  • Abide by internal control systems and authorities and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with the organisations standards and policies.
  • Work with others as appropriate in order to ensure that the organisation has correct systems in place.
  • Contribute efforts to ensure that the organisation maintains high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

  • Experience within the Aerospace industry.
  • Compliance Assurance based qualifications desirable.
  • Experience within a compliance role essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Excellent communication skills.
