About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a secondary school setting. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support, assisting with classroom activities, implementing behaviour management strategies, and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEND is highly desirable.
- A good sense of humour and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Effective behaviour management strategies to support students in achieving their full potential.
- Excellent use of initiative to adapt and respond to the needs of individual students.
- Supportive attitude towards students and colleagues, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Understanding of different children's needs and learning styles, with a commitment to inclusive education.
