Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Pay: £80 to £95 per day
Start Date: Immediate

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a highly regarded Primary School, based in Southend. The school boasts an excellent well rounded curriculum, alongside high end facilities which allow the children to develop both inside and outside of the classroom. Due to their focus on providing the children with the best possible education, they have received a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating.
They are seeking a dedicated and passionate LSA to work across both KS1 and KS2, to help support children with a variety of different educational needs. As an LSA you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development of the students, ensuring an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. For the suitable LSA this role will be a long term contract, potentially leading to a permanent position.
The successful LSA will have:
- Proven experience as a LSA or in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and strategies to support them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for assisting students in their educational journey.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
