Pay rate: £30000 - £46525 per annum

GSL Education Lincolnshire is recruiting a Head of Economics and Business to lead these subjects at secondary level in Spalding. This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward the Economics and Business curriculum and inspire students in their studies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Economics and Business departments, overseeing the delivery of the curriculum for year groups 10-13.
• Teach Economics to year 12 and 13 students and Business to year 10-13 students.
• Develop and implement engaging teaching resources and assessment strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Monitor student progress and attainment, implementing interventions where necessary to support student achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specialisms in Economics and Business Studies.
• Experience teaching Economics and Business at secondary level, including A-level.
• Leadership experience or the potential to take on a leadership role.
• Excellent organisational, managerial, and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service.
