DK Recruitment are looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager to join our clients' finance team and play a critical role in managing credit risk and ensuring strong cash flow across the business.
As Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of payments, managing customer credit limits, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. You will lead a small team, implement best practices, and work closely with sales and finance to support business growth while safeguarding financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the credit control team to achieve collection targets and reduce aged debt.

  • Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers and set appropriate credit limits.

  • Monitor customer accounts and proactively manage credit risks.

  • Implement and maintain robust credit control policies and procedures.

  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Service) to resolve payment issues.

  • Provide regular reporting on debtor performance, risk exposure, and cash flow forecasts.

  • Support audits and compliance with internal and external financial regulations.

About You:

  • Proven experience in credit control, ideally within the FMCG or a fast-paced commercial environment.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Sound understanding of credit risk, financial reporting, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
