Description

  • Preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Performing financial analysis to influence strategic decisions.
  • Ensuring all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
  • Analysing the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future.
  • Interpreting complex financial information and providing updates and information as needed.
  • Monitoring and managing budgets and expenditure.
  • Improving efficiency's and reducing costs across the business.

Profile

A successful Group Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
  • Strong financial analysis and forecasting abilities.
  • Excellent proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
