As a Contracts Manager, you'll be at the helm of project coordination, ensuring smooth operations from inception to completion. Here's what you'll tackle:

  • Crafting meticulous Method Statements & Risk Assessments, steering clear of potential pitfalls.
  • Championing Health & Safety protocols onsite, collaborating closely with the Health and Safety Manager to uphold standards and delve into investigations when needed.
  • Leading site staff through comprehensive inductions and facilitating toolbox talks.
  • Navigating timesheets and orchestrating staffing coverage to keep projects humming along.
  • Juggling multiple projects, overseeing them from handover to the final ribbon-cutting.
  • Cultivating strong client relationships, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Keeping a keen eye on schedules and budgets, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Meeting and surpassing business targets outlined by the Director.
  • Generating accurate reports and documents tailored to the Director's needs.
  • Streamlining administrative tasks crucial for project efficiency.
  • Keeping a finger on the pulse of potential business opportunities, collaborating with the Director to capitalize on them.

For this role, you'll need:

  • Relevant scaffolding qualifications and a valid CSCS card.
  • Experience navigating the competitive landscape of Contracts Management.
  • A track record of successfully delivering high-level, intricate projects.
  • Proficiency in construction site health and safety protocols and industry standards.
  • A knack for Microsoft products, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Flexibility to travel and work across various sites and locations.
  • A UK Driving Licence to facilitate mobility.
