We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Payroll specialist to join our Accounting & Finance team in St Albans. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail and have an active interest in the retail industry.

Description

  • Overseeing payroll procedures and ensuring accuracy in all aspects.
  • Reconciling payroll prior to transmission and validating confirmed reports.
  • Processing correct amounts for employee wages and deductions.
  • Preparing reports for upper management, finance department etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
  • Answering employees' questions and concerns regarding payroll.
  • Identifying issues and recommending solutions to improve the payroll system.
  • Coordinating with HR about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires).

Profile

A successful Payroll specialist should have:
