Staffing & Compliance Coordinator - Office-Based | St Albans, Hertfordshire

?? Location: St Albans (office-based)?? Contract: Full-time, Permanent?? Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

?? Key Responsibilities
  • Rota Coordination: Create and manage weekly and monthly staff rotas to ensure full shift coverage

  • Compliance Management: Maintain up-to-date records for DBS checks, Right to Work, licences, certifications and training

  • Expiry Tracking: Proactively monitor renewal dates and follow up with staff to prevent lapses

  • Onboarding Support: Ensure new hires meet all regulatory and internal compliance standards before starting

  • Commercial Insight: Analyse staffing patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and highlight potential gaps

  • Communication: Keep the team informed of rota changes, compliance requirements, and audit preparations

  • Audit & Review: Prepare and organise documentation for internal and external compliance audits

? What We’re Looking For
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach with commercial awareness

  • Exceptional attention to detail and deadline management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with scheduling/HR systems (PARiM or similar) is a bonus

  • Background in healthcare, patient transport, or a fast-paced service environment preferred
