    Compliance Manager (M&E) Permanent Opportunity via BRC Jobs:               Compliance Manager (M&E)         Location:        Cornwall Sector:            Housing & Property   Contract:        Permanent Salary:            £50,000   BRC are working with a reputable Housing Association in the South West to recruit a Compliance Manager as part of their property service functions. As part of their dedicated team, you will be responsible for all health & safety property compliance  Main Responsibilities: 
  1. Reporting into the Head of Property Services, you will be responsible for overseeing 3x supervisors who also have trade reports and 1 x scheduler
  2. You will be overseeing the overall health & safety compliance for; gas installations, servicing & repairs, electrical safety, building safety, legionella, asbestos and lifts
  3. Overall responsibility for providing the successful management of a fully compliant, high quality, efficient, value for money and customer focused service, for all aspects of Property compliance
  4. You will be required to drive and develop compliance for all service areas to maintain top quartile performance in all categories – liaising and working with customers and their representatives to develop the service delivery
  5. Promoting and embedding a culture of ‘right first time’ in all areas of the service
  6. Responsible for maximising and developing the continued use of ICT to improve efficiency with Compliance functions to achieve top quartile performance and accurate data recording and reporting
  7. Advise and support Property Services Managers with creation of accurate annual budgets that align with service delivery objectives for compliance
  8. Manage and review feedback about the service area including handling formal complaints
  Job Requirements:
  1. Foundation Degree or educated to equivalent level 5 in a relevant discipline
  2. IOSH Certificate or equivalent in Health & Safety.
  3. Evidence of CPD and prepared to undertake relevant training to further knowledge base
  4. Experience of working in Social Housing
  5. Full Driving Licence
