Eventus Recruitment Cheshire are seeking a Mortgage Administrator to join a dynamic and fast-paced team in St Helens. Working in the Mortgage Advisory Team, reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be liaising closely with the Mortgage Advisors. Role Responsibilities

This is a chance to work with a leading financial planning and mortgage advisory firm with an excellent marketplace reputation. You will provide full administrative support to the Mortgage team including submission of mortgages and loan enquiries. You will deal with lenders and provide an excellent service to clients:

  • Liaising with clients, advisers, solicitors and lenders throughout the process
  • Filing, scanning, photocopying of all relevant documents which are needed for the applications
  • Maintaining business logs using internal CRM system
  • Communicate with management producing reports on personal case loads
  • Reviewing, updating, tracking and monitoring of cases to manage a pipeline in a fast-paced mortgage environment, from submission to completion
  • Dealing with incoming general enquiries
  • Keeping customers up to date on their case and push for feedback on all completed cases

  • Excellent eye for detail and sensitivity to data
  • Quick learner
  • Excellent work ethic and enthusiasm for the role
  • Team player but able to work independently and without close supervision
  • Enjoys being busy and delivering a client-focused service
  • Proactive and able to use initiative to work towards and meet deadlines
  • Organised, flexible and responsive to a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn on the job and to develop within the role

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working in a similar role within 1st Charge or 2nd Charge Mortgages.
