Manufacturing Operative

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operatives to join our client in St Helens on a full time permanent basis.Our client is a well known manufacturing business who are looking to recruit for additional operators to join them in the production areas.Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)Shift Rota:12 hour shift pattern 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:003/4 shift per week rotating between days / nights and weekendsThis rota includes a 7 day break every month and a 20 day break every 3 monthsThe Role:

• Ensure smooth running of the production lines
• Tooling, setting, product changeovers to plan.
• Material movement and control.
• Problem solving
• Process documentation
• Manage Asset Care to plan.

Key SkillsAbility to assess risk and work safely.Ability to work to company procedures.Ability to work as part of a team.Positive attitude with a desire to develop and progress.A desire to meet and exceed customer expectations in terms of quality of product.Attention to detail.Continuous improvement desire.Problem solving ability.Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 + in mechanical or electrical engineering
• GCSE.
