If so, Reed Further Education are currently working with a training provider based in the Cambridgeshire area. The company has recently launched a new centre in Cambridgeshire and they are looking for enthusiastic professionals who are keen for a new challenge in the training and education sector.
Job Title: Plumbing and Gas Tutor
Position: Full-time, 35 hours, Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm
Role type: Permanent
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum
Day to Day of the role:
- Deliver training and assessments to apprentices and existing plumbing and gas engineers.
- Prepare and shape course curriculum.
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated team of assessors to provide high-quality learning experiences.
- Engage with students, supporting and encouraging them on their journey to becoming skilled professionals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully qualified Level 3 Plumber/Gas Engineer with CCN1 and CENWAT
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good level of English, Maths, and IT.
- Desire to continue professional development and obtain additional qualification.
- Ability to manage own time effectively and work well as part of a team.
- Full driving licence.
Desirable Skills:
- Assessor Qualifications.
- Previous experience working with apprentices.
