Warehouse Operative required for well established, highly reputable business based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire on a permanent, full time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all stores areas are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Ensure deliveries are received into stores in a timely manner and are accurately checked and booked in on the warehouse management system
  • Ensure goods are put away into the appropriate location e.g., job bins, consignment stock, consumables etc
  • Ensure daily collections of finished jobs are made from the Machine Shop and they are booked on to the warehouse management system
  • Ensure any finished goods received from the workshop are packaged as required and prepared for shipment to customers/sub-contractors, arranging the necessary transport, and that customer delivery dates are being met
  • Process picking lists for workshop use as required
  • Perform general warehouse duties including forklift and van driving as required
  • Maintain general site tidiness including garden maintenance
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous Warehouse/Stores experience
  • IT Literate
  • A good understanding of stock control processes
  • A team player with good communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A valid FLT license is highly desirable but not essential
  • Full UK Driving license also highly desirable but not essential

Working Hours & Pay:

8 hours shifts from Monday to Friday

£25,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience)
