Full job description
7am - 5pm - working with the warehouse team for a national electrical wholesaler
-Responsibility of your van and deliveries- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations- Load and unload packages and products from the van- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements- Verify the accuracy of delivery contents and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Warehouse duties
Stock control/goods in and goods out
keeping all areas clean and tidy
updating stock reports
dealing with returns
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred- Ability to lift heavy packages or products, up to [insert weight limit]- Familiarity with local roads and routes- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
