Location:The Hartley Arms, Wheaton Aston, Stafford, ST19 9NF
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week across 5 days
Are you a talented Sous Chef looking to join a vibrant team? The Hartley Arms is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to oversee our kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional cuisine while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and coordinate food production activities, including preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure all dishes meet our restaurant's standards of quality and presentation
- Monitor food taste and quality consistently to uphold customer satisfaction
- Manage kitchen inventory and place orders for supplies as necessary
- Collaborate with management on developing new menu items and daily specials
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, adhering to sanitation guidelines
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar culinary environment
- Passion for food and a creative approach to cooking
