This pivotal role demands a dynamic leader who will provide overall strategic leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with the organisation's values and driving quality and growth. The Managing Director will also be accountable for operational management, governance, and financial performance, ensuring the continued success and improvement of the Apprenticeship division. This is a key role for our client and as such requires someone with proven success of Senior Executive Director level experience within a like for like role.PLEASE NOTE: It is vital this experience is visible and detailed within your cv when applying. Duties include (not limited to)
  • To work as an instrumental part of the SLT, providing key knowledge, insight and leadership across the business.
  • Identify and develop a robust Apprenticeship delivery model, prioritising quality of delivery and QAR’s. Implement improvement plans / strategies for multi-site delivery, ensuring that quality and compliance standards are maintained to the highest standard in line with Ofsted / ESFA.
  • Lead and manage across departments (Ops, Quality, Finance, Governance and Sales), securing and sustaining improvements in all aspects of delivery.
  • Manage, motivate and support all members within the Apprenticeship provision to ensure the quality, timely and effective delivery of educational programmes in-line with contractual targets and objectives.
  • Implement performance improvement processes to achieve and exceed measurable targets.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and quality requirements are adhered to.
  • Instrumental in contributing to annual business planning and operations forecasting.
Essential Criteria for all candidates:
  • Proven experience of working in a Senior Executive / MD level role, within the Apprenticeship sector.
  • Proven experience of managing a multi-site Apprenticeship training organisation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Ofsted and ESFA funding rules and criteria
  • Proven experience of implementing quality and compliance standards.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate success in innovating solutions to increase productivity and profitability
  • Experience of managing and delivering financial budgets.
