What You'll Do:
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing optimised HVDC substation layouts, integrating all necessary equipment while considering installation, operation, and maintenance constraints.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead primary and secondary design engineering for substations/HVDC stations
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables in compliance with safety regulations and contracts
- Translate project contracts into technical specifications and manage project planning
- Review, validate, and optimise engineering deliverables, including substation and building layouts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support project activities, and provide technical expertise to stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience with substations/HVDC stations
- Proficient in contract/project management
- Skilled in Autodesk CAD tools with understanding of civil engineering
- Demonstrated leadership skills

- This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home (early finish Friday).
