They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR/People Manager to join their fantastic team, partnering with the General Manager and site management team in supporting their Stafford Site. HR Manager - Requirements

  • Strong generalist experienced in dealing with high volume and complex ER issues with good, demonstrable working knowledge of Employment law.
  • Previous experience gained within a fast-paced logistics/retail environment.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills with a resilience temperament.
  • Ability to work flexibly where needed as this is a 24-hour operation.
  • Results focussed, capable of handling multiple priorities and adapting to change.
  • CIPD quals desirable not essential

HR Manager - Responsibilities

  • Ensuring delivery of the Site Plan for staffing from resourcing through to reward with the support of the resourcing team.
  • Identify areas for improvement, proactively addressing retention of teams and ensuring their contractual KPI’s are met.
  • Source and/or deliver management training where there is a need identified, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  • Partner with H&S teams to ensure health, safety and environmental targets are met.
  • Work with employee representatives to maintain a positive relationship and implement a climate of employee relations excellence, supporting cultural development.
  • Keep up to date with legislation and policy changes and ensuring compliance.
