We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager who has experience within the Plastics, Polymers or Packaging industry who has knowledge of Microbiology and Chemical Engineering, we are also looking for someone who has experience working to ISO9001 & ISO14001 standards.
The hiring manager is looking for someone who holds either a Degree in Polymer Science, or a degree in Chemical Engineering.
You will be working with subcontract manufacturers providing technical support, assisting customers with New Product Development, production trials and sample procedures.
In your first few weeks in this Technical Manager role, you can expect to:
- Advise/educate the commercial team to offer the appropriate/most suitable solution based on end application
- Assist clients with New Product Development NPD, production trials, and sample procedures
- Coordinate and manage Supplier and Customer Trials
- Carry out internal audits to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Work closely with suppliers on the development and approval of new products and raw materials

- Experience in QMS/ ISO system
- Experience in the manufacture of plastics utilizing a variety of polymers & materials
- Understanding of microbiology
- Knowledge of chemical and industrial test methods
