POST Recruitment is hiring a high-performing Key Account Manager to join a nationally recognised market leader. This field-based Key Account Manager role spans a high-value territory covering Derbyshire, Cheshire & Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities of the Key Account Manager:
  • Territory Management Own and manage your region across Derbyshire, Cheshire & Staffordshireto maximise revenue and client satisfaction.

  • Account Development Grow revenue through upselling and cross-selling within an existing portfolio.

  • Consultative Sales Understand customer needs and provide tailored, value-driven service solutions.

  • Training & Product Support Help clients achieve success by guiding them through effective product use.

  • Market Insight Keep abreast of market activity, industry developments, and competitor offerings.

  • CRM Excellence Maintain detailed client records and ensure accurate pipeline reporting.

  • Collaboration Work closely with sales leadership and internal teams to ensure delivery excellence.


What Were Looking For:

  • 3+ years experience in a Key Account Manager, Regional Account Manager, or similar B2B field-based role.

  • Experience in fast-paced sales environments with short sales cycles and the ability to close in-meeting.

  • Strong consultative sales approach with an ability to present ROI-based proposals.

  • Confident handling objections and selling in a fixed-pricing model.

  • Familiarity with Challenger, SPIN, SNAP or similar structured sales methodologies.

  • Excellent commercial acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
