Warehouse Operative/Van Driver
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our longstanding clients that are part of a global network specialising in the production, and distribution of industrial batteries and energy storage solutions.
Location: ST5 (Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent)
Job Type: Temp, initially for 6 months, with the possibility to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Pay rate: £11.93 per hour.
Hours: Monday to Thursday (08:00 to 16:30) Friday (08:00 to 15:00) - 39 hours a week standard, with the possibility of overtime on the weekend paid at T1/2.
The role:
- Basic production/assembly of products in the warehouse
- Loading/unloading products in to correct areas throughout the warehouse and into vehicle
- Working within a team to achieve required orders
- General warehouse
- Ensure the workplace is kept clean and tidy and ensure all spillages/breakages are cleared immediately.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Driving to client sites throughout the UK to deliver products.
- A company van will be provided.
Requirements:
- Must have a full UK driving license
- Must have van driving experience
- Ideally will have warehouse and/or assembly experience
