Looking for a nursing role where your opinion really counts? An opportunity to make your mark? Our practice in Staines may be the perfect answer!

We opened our brand-new, purpose-built practice in March 2022 and are now looking for an RVN/nearly qualified SVN to complement our close knit, supportive team.

As we’re a new practice our RVN/SVN position offers the perfect chance to shape the role to suit your interests. We’d love you to run nurse clinics or work closely with our vet team in surgery or have an interest in Anaesthesia. Whatever your interest we can accommodate it, and our Practice Manager is happy to support and mentor as much or as little as you need.

This really is a great opportunity to help shape the future of our practice alongside your own career.

Our nurses are veterinary professionals and as such we ensure that they are able to fulfil their clinical potential. We have a team of talented Client Care Advisors to support the client journey, freeing up our Nurses to carry out their roles effectively and enabling you to lead and manage nurse clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures.

Our well thought out, spacious practice boasts facilities that make your role easier to do, including heated kennels and separate catteries and isolation with dimmable lighting. We use technology such as self-service check in and tablet style laptops that improve our processes. And our new way of working with Pet Health Advisors who accompany and support our clients throughout their visit, lifts the customer experience and really helps our team work closely together – freeing our vets and nurses to do what they do best!

Conveniently located in Staines on the Two Rivers Retail Park close the major roads and public transport our role can be full time or part time with some weekends on a fair rota basis, shared with the rest of the team. There is no out of hours requirement and we’re always happy to look at flexible working and job share options.

As standard we offer all the benefits you’d expect from a major employer (pension, healthcare, paid memberships, competitive salary to £30k and an incentive of a welcome bonus of £1000 pro rata after completion of probation period) plus a few more, such as excellent career progression, generous CPD allowance and exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts.

So, if you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare, exceptional customer service and would like to join our team, then we would love to hear from you.

We want our colleagues to be as diverse as our clients. Our teams are inclusive and celebrate difference so if you meet our role requirements, we’d love to hear from you.

Location: TW18 4WB

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
