Tradewind is collaborating with a delightful community Primary School in Stamford, in search of a fantastic, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately. You'll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a student with ASD, supported by a warm and welcoming team of staff. In this nurturing environment, you'll enhance your skills in working with children within an academic setting. As part of their internal development journey, the school is seeking experienced SEN TAs to assist teachers in each class, ensuring equal access to the curriculum for all students.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Adhere to each child's EHCP/IEP.
  • Offer personalised support tailored to individual needs.
  • Establish a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Conduct small group and one-on-one interventions for students requiring additional assistance.

**Qualifications and Skills**

  • Prior experience assisting students with SEN
  • Dedicated to supporting individuals with special educational needs
  • Possessing a patient and composed demeanour
  • Flexible and adaptable when faced with changing situations
