Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our well established client.

Job Duties:

• Operate Lockstitch and overlock sewing machine.
• Operate manual and mechanical cutting, eyeleting and similar equipment.
• Assist in the manufacture of sewn goods, this includes marking, cutting and sewing of various fabrics to manufacture a wide variety of sewn goods.
• Ensure work area and environment is kept clean, tidy and organised.
• Adhere to good practice in relation to health & safety and working methods.
• Any other tasks reasonably required by management.

Requirements:

• Basic sewing skills.
• Ability to read and understand written pattern instructions.
• Willingness to teach, learn and develop.
• Can do attitude.

Salary: 11.50 per hour + regular overtime available at a good overtime rate.

Working hours:Monday to Friday8am - 5pm.

This is a Full Time, Permanent position.
