Financial Controller / Senior Dealership Accountant (with Growth to FD!)
22 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays
55-60,000 + Company Car (poss. Hybrid/Electric)
Hours/Days: Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.00
Our client is a high-growth commercial vehicle dealership, currently with three dealership locations and 5 workshops for servicing, repairs & warranty.
They provide vehicles and after-sales services to a range of fleet providers in the UK.
We are looking to appoint a Financial Controller with experience in the automotive industry and a background in accounts for dealerships & workshops. The position is to oversee and run the day-to-day accounts and support key business departments covering both the dealerships & workshops.
The role with have a clear progression to the role of Finance Director with future growth of the company.

An understanding and experience in the automotive industry
A working knowledge of automotive industry accounts and management programmes
Duties would include but not be limited to: -
Managing all aspects of the accounting process including raising sales invoices, processing purchase invoices and inputting and journal entries.
Account reconciliations
Responsible for debtors & cash collection
Preparing cashflow forecasts
Preparing & submitting quarterly VAT returns
Weekly and month-end financial performance reporting
Management of new vehicle funding
Import information into management reporting software
Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for the Group Finance Director
Agree on timescales, costs and resources
