Newstaff are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef for our client located nearby Stevenage.
- £13 per hour
- Weekly pay

Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Main duties:
- participates in and supervises the preparation and cooking of food accordance with established recipe cards and methods
- has desire to be trained to cover other sections of the Kitchen as decided by the Head Chef
- ensures all dishes are correctly garnished before being sent to relevant outlets
- ensures that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner
- ensures work area is kept clean, hygienic and organised
- ensure that all equipment/utensils in the section are correctly handled and maintained
- to deal with guest comments and complaints in a constructive and empathetic manner
Ideal candidate should be fully aware and comply with:

- Food Hygiene Regulations
- Health and Safety Procedures
- Current Licensing Regulations
- Method of payment
- Maintains a safe and hygienic work environment
