Are you seeking a challenging entry-level opportunity with a leading company in the Aerospace and defence sector? We are currently looking for dedicated individuals to join the Operations team of Our client who is a renowned Aerospace company at the forefront of space exploration and travel.
Daily tasks will include assembly and final assembly processes of aluminium composite panel manufacture.
Responsibilities:
- Able to insert panels with the correct type of mechanical fasteners.
- Bonding of various brackets, equipment and inserts, using various adhesives
- Bonding components and sub-assemblies using adhesives to drawing specifications
- Ability to read and understand Detailed engineering drawings and procedures.
- Laminating and Tooling
- Working with Aluminium skin and Honeycomb core
- Film adhesive bonding
- Oven curing
- Use of Industrial machinery
- Using 3D viewing Software and 3D assembly Models
Essential:
- Previous experience in a Manual Handling Role
- Manual Dexterity
- Previous experience within a production/manufacturing environment with regular use of hand tools
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions/manuals.
- Relevant experience in carbon fibre
Desirable:
- Clean room environment experience
- Previous experience of laminating Aluminium
- Space/Aerospace/Automotive/Motorsport experience
