Monitor, test, and inspect products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed.
May work in laboratory settings running tests and duplicating real-world conditions, using tools such as micrometres, callipers, gauges, voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment to aid in quality inspections and assessments.
Participate in root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities such as A3 and 8D’s.
Create and Complete paperwork such as Process Maps, PPAP, Control Plans and FMEAs.
Experience inspecting a number of components/products with a range of dimensional measurement tools, such as micrometres, callipers, gauges, voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment
Well-versed working within a high-precision/highly regulated environment, inspecting precision components
The ideal candidate will be a quality inspector who has supported other quality-based activities such as FAIRS, root-cause analysis, PPAP’s, FMEA’s, control plans etc
