Site Supervisor- Hands-on
Are you an accomplished Site Supervisor with a track record of success in contractor roles, particularly in the realms of racking and automation systems? We're actively seeking a dedicated professional to join the team on an, ideally,12 month FTC (Fixed term contract) near Sterling, Clackmannanshire. They may also consider someone in a contract role so please do still apply if you fit the skills profile and experience. We are looking for someone who is happy to be hands on, supporting the Site Manager with the trades and labour and pushing the projects forwards in a pro-active way.
Position Overview:
As a Site Supervisor, working on this new racking project, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of theproject. Your experience and leadership skills in supporting the Site Manager, will be crucial in overseeing the implementation of racking and automation systems including ASRS and conveyor systems. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a high-impact role, working alongside a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all site activities, ensuring the timely and efficient execution of the project.
- Demonstrate your expertise in racking and automation (such as ASRS and conveyor systems), providing guidance and support to the team.
- Oversee a team of up to 50 individuals on-site, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
- Utilize your strong character to independently manage the project from day one, with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in principal contractor roles.
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and First Aid certifications are essential.
- Ideal qualifications include NEBOSH, IOSH, and Level 7 Construction Management.
- A demonstrated track record of managing sites with a large workforce (up to 50 individuals).
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
This is as 12 month FTCrole (also possible contract position)and will be based near Stirling. You must be able to access the site on a daily basis.
