The role of the Contracts Manager – Commercial Flooring will involve:
·Contracts Manager position overseeing various commercial flooring projects such as vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
·Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
·Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time
·Ensure projects are running smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans
·Liaising with clients and providing project reports
·Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
·Reporting project status to the Managing Director
·Managing projects ranging in value from £500 to £250k
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager – Commercial Flooring with:
·Must have Contract Management within the commercial flooring or related market sector Ideally will have sound technical knowledge of the flooring market sector vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
·Must hold CSCS Gold or Black card & SSSTS
·Full UK driving license
·Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
·Professionalandhighly organised
·Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
