Are you a CNC Service Engineer based in Greater Manchester, seeking a new and rewarding opportunity within a successful company that offers job security, a competitive salary, generous holidays, and the perk of early finish Fridays? Our client is one of the largest and most well-established family-run machine tool service providers in the UK. Due to expansion and an ever-increasing workload, they now seek an experienced CNC Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers a blend of workshop and mobile duties, including occasional working away, encompassing the repair, upgrade, retrofitting, and service of a full range of engineering machinery.

The Benefits:

A competitive starting salary from £44,000 per year.

Door to Door (For candidates based in Greater Manchester)

Overtime paid at time and a 3rd during the week. Time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.

33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

Company Van.

Tools where required.

Bonus scheme.

PPE and uniform.

Mobile phone.

Early finish on Fridays.

The Role:

30% workshop-based and a 70% mobile role that involves repair, upgrade, retrofitting, and service of engineering-based machinery.

Working in a team and alone.

The capacity to travel as needed, typically averaging 2 to 3 times per month, usually with no more than a week away in any given month.

Role Requirements:

Experience with working on different types of engineering machinery.

Electrically biased with mechanical knowledge.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday 7 am until 4.15 / Fridays 7 am until 2.30. (early finish)
